• On 23-25 October 2002 in the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw will take place the Polish fair KOSM 2002 (‘Polish Medication and Medical Equipment Offer’).

• Honorary patronage will be assumed between others by the Ministry of Health and the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers (SEP).

• Thematic areas of the fair are between others: hospital equipment, medical apparatuses, live-saving, laboratory equipment and pharmaceuticals. The KOSM 2002 fair will be accompanied by scientific conferences, public debates, seminars, trainings and lectures.

On 23 October 2002 in the Palace of Culture and Science a conference Development of instrumental methods in medical diagnosis will take place. The aim of the conference will be to discuss the actual condition of instrumental methods in use in the medical diagnosis. The mentioned subjects will be referred to the requirements of the EU. The conference organizer - Polish Committee for Biomedical Engineering of SEP - has invited to deliver plenary papers eminent professionals, Polish and from the EU.
