IRSEP integrates
substantively independent centers of expertise acting at SEP departments, having
at its disposal over 4000 experts and specialists on the territory of the entire
country serving national and foreign partners in all areas of electrical
engineering.
The centers of
expertise of SEP:

conduct expertise, opinions and project works,

conduct technical
advisorship,
-
conduct author's and investor's supervisions,
- install, put into operation and service electrical equipment along with
working out of operation and service manuals,
- conduct measurements and laboratory tests,
- conduct implementation projects,
- organize scientific, technical and promotional events,
- undertake specialized production,
- act as commercial middlemen in the field of import, export and domestic
market
- render services in all areas of electrical engineering and fields
associated with.

COSiW executes, since 1960, the statutory missions of the Association in the
field of training and editing activities regarding the electrics and in the
areas connected with.
The activity encompasses in particular:
- the publication of technical books, manuals, advisories, information
brochures,
- trade publications and other publications and print works,
- the organizing of various courses, the conduction of extracurricular
training, and edition of support materials for training purposes,
- the organization of meetings, conferences, lectures and exhibitions.

Quality Research Bureau
The BBJ-SEP, Testing and Certification Institute is a partner of the
certification bodies and testing laboratories of European Union in the
frames of multilateral and bilateral agreements on mutual recognition of
certificates and test reports from CB/IECEE and CCA (multilateral
agreements).
The BBJ-SEP, an independent accredited certification body and testing
laboratory has been active since 1957 in the field of quality assessment of
equipment and electrical components within the national testing and
certification system.
It carries out the certification of lighting equipment, cables and
cords, insulation materials, low voltage apparatus, electromedical equipment
for:
- the Safety Mark 'B'
- he Mark of the Conformity with the Polish Standard,
- the 'Q' Quality Mark,
- the Ecological Mark,
- the conformity with power effectiveness regulations and other
normative documents.
The BBJ-SEP Testing Laboratory performs the tests of m.a. products groups
for certification purposes and within the scope agreed upon with customers.
The BBJ-SEP is authorized by other certification bodies for inspection
activity.
The BBJ-SEP:
- conducts training within the scope of quality system complying with the
series EN 45000 and ISO 9000, Polish and European Union regulations for market
introduction,
- conducts consulting in the field of m.a. quality systems,
- designs and performs specialized testing equipment,
- carries out inspections and audits for certification bodies, laboratories
and enterprises,
- drafts standards, technical criteria and other normative documents.
